Norf Tutors Key Stage 2 (KS2) Computing program focuses on equipping students with essential digital skills and knowledge to navigate the ever-evolving technological landscape. Our tutoring aims to build strong computational thinking, foster creativity, and develop confidence in using digital tools, all while aligning with the UK National Curriculum for Computing.

Our KS2 Computing tutoring emphasises hands-on, engaging learning to help students build their understanding of technology and digital systems. The program covers:

Digital Literacy:
Understanding the basics of how computers work, using devices safely, and developing awareness of online safety and the impact of technology on society. Students will learn about the importance of protecting personal information and maintaining a positive digital footprint.

Programming and Algorithms:
Introduction to coding concepts and logical problem-solving through programming languages like Scratch and Python. Students will learn to write simple algorithms, debug errors, and develop their own interactive programs and games.

Data and Information:
Understanding how data is collected, organized, and represented digitally. Students will explore databases, spreadsheets, and how to analyze data effectively. They will also develop skills in presenting data using graphs and charts.

Networks and Communication:
Learning about how devices communicate over networks, including the internet. Students will explore the basics of computer networks, how information is shared, and the importance of secure communication.
